Locating Resources

How to Find:

Children's Books on a Theme

In the Library Catalog, choose to search by Keyword. Type your subject then click on the Search button.  You will receive a list that contains all levels of reading on this topic.  Go to the right side of the page where it says "Limit by:" and select "coll: NIP Children's Collection".  This will limit the search to the Peosta Library's children's titles.

The call number will tell you the location of the book. If there is an [E] in the call number area that means it is a picture book. If there is a number and the collection says: Children's Collection, then the item is in the Children's nonfiction section.

The Picture Books and the Children's Collection are located at the back of the library.

Professional teaching resources are in the adult nonfiction section.
